226ERS High Fructose Energy Gel (80gr)
226ERS High Fructose Gel is an energy gel formulated with maltodextrin and fructose in a ratio of 10:8, providing 55 grams of carbohydrates per gel.
226ERS High Fructose Energy Gel carries the seal of approval of the Cologne List, the world's largest platform for doping prevention in dietary supplements. The Cologne List includes only products that have been thoroughly tested, with detailed analysis and labeling checks to ensure manufacturers are not using substances banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
Each gel of 226ERS High Fructose Gel provides 55 g of carbohydrates and 250 mg of sodium, derived from maltodextrin and fructose in a 10:8 ratio. The product is vegan, gluten-free and available in three flavors.
This formula, based on "multiple transportable carbohydrates," has proven through research that using carbohydrates absorbed through multiple transporters in the gut during prolonged exercise is the only way to increase the rate of assimilation and oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates to 60 g/hour.
Suggested use: Up to 2 units every 60 minutes during training or racing, with approximately 300 ml of water.
Nutrient Explanation:
Maltodextrin: Absorbed in the small intestine via the SLG-1 transporter, it is converted to glucose and rapidly delivers energy to cells due to its high glycemic index, providing a rapid rise in blood sugar and immediate energy release. The high molecular weight and low osmolarity promote rapid gastric emptying, which improves digestion and reduces gastrointestinal side effects.
Fructose: Absorbed in the small intestine by GLUT5 transporters, different from the transporters for other carbohydrates. Absorbed fructose is transported from the intestines to the liver via GLUT2 transporters, where it replenishes liver glycogen stores depleted during intense exercise.
Fructose provides gradual absorption with constant and progressive energy release. The combination of maltodextrin and fructose makes it possible to digest and assimilate large amounts of carbohydrates per hour, reducing the risk of stomach problems.
