Refund policy

On this page you can read all the information about canceling your order, returning your order and registering a warranty request.

Canceling your order
Have you placed an order with us and it has not been shipped yet? Then you can cancel that order at any time. Send us a message or give us a call and we'll cancel your order right away and refund your purchase price. See below for more information on refunds.

Returning your order
Has your order already been shipped to you? Then you may return your order within 30 days. You can do this by sending it back to us or by bringing it to our store.

To return, the product must meet the following conditions:

  • The product is in new condition.
  • The product is complete with all parts and accessories.
  • The product is packed as best as possible in its original packaging.

You can and may view, try on or try on the product as you would in our store. Do you use the product for sports, for example? Then we cannot sell the product as new to another customer. If you return a used product to us, you are liable for the depreciation of the product. In that case we may not refund you the purchase price or may not refund it in full. We will notify you of this by e-mail.

Returning in a package
If you want to return an order in a package, you can do so in the following way:

  1. Pack the product as best as possible in the original packaging and shipping box.
  2. Add the packing slip, which was enclosed with the shipment, back into the package. Without indicating your name and/or order number, we cannot process your return.
  3. Bring the package to a parcel point. You can choose your own parcel service.
  4. Send the package to:

Returning your order is at your own expense and risk, unless we have made a mistake. Please let us know the mistake and we will of course pay the shipping costs and you will receive a return label from us.

Returns from the Netherlands usually reach us within a few days. Please note that returns from another country may take longer, sometimes up to several weeks.

Exchanging your order
Would you like to exchange the product for another product? That too is possible within 30 days of purchasing the product. You can do that in this way:

  1. Return your order by sending it back to us.
  2. We will refund you the purchase price of the original order.
  3. Place and pay for a new order on our website. We will ship your order as soon as possible.

Orders can also be exchanged in our store. Come by and bring your purchase with you. In the store we will exchange your order immediately with a possible supplement or refund.

Refund of your purchase price
After returning your order in good condition, we process the refund of the purchase amount as soon as possible. We usually do this the same day, for example during vacations it may take a little longer.

In all cases we will refund you within 14 days after receipt of your return. Do you have a question or comment about the refund? Please send us an e-mail via hello@athletesportsworld.com.

Submit a warranty request
Did a product break down? Or does it not meet your expectations? Then it may be a warranty case. In all cases in which you wish to make a claim under the statutory and/or manufacturer's warranty, we ask you to immediately after damage and/or a defect has occurredplease send an e-mail to hello@athletesportsworld.com or respond to any of the emails you received in response to your order.

Please state clearly in your e-mail the reason for your warranty request, describe briefly how and under what use a damage or defect has occurred and, if possible, attach a photo of the damage or defect. We will then assess and respond to your warranty request as quickly as possible, whether or not in consultation with the manufacturer. No warranty is provided on used products, such as demo models of wetsuits.
